it's more fun with friends - invite contacts in your email address book Since swaptree is more fun with friends we have made it super easy for you get them to sign up and start trading.  If you use a web email account, we make it easy to send invitations to any users in your address book.  Just fill out the fields below - we'll show you a list of your contacts and you can choose who to invite. Use Outlook or Outlook Express?
If so, click here to invite contacts.

If you use Outlook or Outlook Express, then you can upload a contact file and we'll show you a list of your contacts so you can see who is already on swaptree or who you might want to invite.

How to create an Outlook contact file...

To export a CSV or tab-delimited text file from Outlook:

1. Open Outlook
2. Select "Import and Export" from the File menu
3. When the wizard opens, select "Export to a file" and click "Next"
4. Select "Comma separated values (Windows)" and click "Next"
5. Select the Contacts folder you would like to export and click "Next"
6. Choose a filename and a place to save the file (for instance, "Contacts.csv" on the Desktop), then click "Next"
7. Confirm what you are exporting: make sure the checkbox next to "Export..." is checked and click "Finish"
8. To upload your file to Swaptree simply hit "Browse" below and select the contact file you've just created.

How to create an Outlook Express contact file...

To export a CSV or tab-delimited text file from Outlook Express:

1. Open Outlook Express
2. Select "Export" from the "File" menu
3. Click "Export", and then click "Address Book"
4. Select "Text File" (Comma Separated Values), and then click "Export".
5. Choose a filename and a place to save the file (for instance, "Contacts.csv" on the Desktop) and click "Next"
6. Click to select the check boxes for the fields that you want to export, and then click "Finish". Please be sure to select the email address and name fields
7. Click "OK" and then click "Close"
8. To upload your file to Swaptree simply hit "Browse" below and select the contact file you've just created.

retrieve your amazon wish list If you use Amazon.com and have items on your Amazon wish list, we can see if we can get you those items for FREE.  Just enter the email address that you use to access your Amazon.com account and we'll show you all of the items on your wish list.  You will then be able to choose which items you want to add to your "items I want" list on swaptree.

want to add a bunch of items to your want list at once? If you find a web page full of items that you are interested in adding to your want list, just enter that URL of page below.  We'll show you all of the items on that page and you can choose which items you want to add to your "items I want" list.

This is especially useful if you find a list like best-selling books, award-winning CDs, best movies of the year, or the top action games for your console.  And if you used another website in the past to keep track of items you want, this tool also makes it easy to import those items.
